In one of the greatest college football games I've ever seen, the Boise St.
Bluefielders showed guts, courage, perseverance, heart, swagger and some of the most clever goddamned plays in recent NCAA memory to squeak out a win against the Oklahoma Sooners in the Fiesta Bowl. Oklahoma fought hard, too... they were just outfoxed in the end.
To top it all off, tough Boise St. RB Ian Johnson (shown above winning the game), who played superbly, proposed on national television to (and was told "yes" by) his girlfriend, a Broncos cheerleader.
Consider me officially blown away. And bring on a 1-A playoff.
