Dodd will not seek majority leadership post in Senate

Back home in Connecticut after his post-Iowa exit from the '08 race, Sen. Chris Dodd is saying he's not going to pursue majority leadership in the Senate.

Dodd "dismissed netroot rumors that he would challenge Nevada Senator Harry Reid for Senate Majority Leader," reports CT News Junkie, quoting Dodd as saying that "he had his shot at the job back in 1994 when he lost by one vote" to former Sen. Tom Daschle.

With Dodd unfortunately out of contention, hopefully Sen. Russ Feingold goes after Reid's position.

Feingold would make an excellent majority leader. Reid is such a wuss!
